This XY-axis automatic spot welding machine is engineered for mass production of elevator door panels, security doors, and large sheet metal enclosures. Working Principle

An operator loads the door panel onto the fixture and activates the cycle with both hands. The X/Y fixture mechanism moves the workpiece to the pre-programmed welding position, then the upper electrode descends under pneumatic pressure to clamp the sheet stack. A thyristor-controlled transformer delivers welding current through the copper electrodes, concentrating heat at the contact interface to form a nugget. After the weld completes, the thyristor cuts off, the electrode lifts, and the table advances to the next spot. The system repeats this sequence until all programmed points are finished, then returns the panel to the exchange rack for unloading.
