2mm Sheet Metal Stainless Steel Fixed Type Stationary Spot Welding Machine Long Arm

This machine is a long-arm customized variant​ of our DTN Series Stationary Spot (Projection) Welding Machines, specifically engineered for welding stainless steel thin sheets​ (e.g., 2mm) with complex geometries or in confined spaces. It retains the versatility of the base model, suitable for welding low-carbon steel, stainless steel, and some non-ferrous metals. It performs both lap welding between sheets and projection welding​ of sheets to nuts and bolts. The extended welding arm provides greater operational reach and flexibility, easily accessing weld positions unreachable by standard machines, making it a professional solution for challenging welding applications.

1. Robust Structure & Extended Reach Design

   • Sturdy Frame: Features a high-strength single-sided C-frame structure​ with excellent impact resistance, vibration damping, and rigidity. Precision machining and internal rib reinforcement ensure minimal deformation during welding, guaranteeing stability for stainless steel thin sheet​ welding and operational safety.

   • Long Arm Advantage: The custom extended welding arm​ provides deep throat depth, significantly expanding the effective working envelope. It is particularly suited for weld spots inside enclosures, deep-recessed workpieces, or on the edges of large panels.

2. Precise & Adjustable Pressure & Stroke System

   • Auxiliary Cylinder Pressurization: The upper electrode is pressurized by an auxiliary air cylinder. Combined with an electro-pneumatic proportional valve, it allows for high-precision, stepless adjustment of welding force, ensuring accurate pressure control.

   • Flexible Stroke Adjustment: The electrode stroke is conveniently and continuously adjustable, allowing precise matching of different workpiece handling strokes​ to optimize the welding cycle.

3. High-Speed Welding & Actuation System

   • Capacitor Discharge Technology: Employs capacitor discharge (CD) welding, characterized by extremely fast discharge and short weld time (milliseconds). The concentrated heat input effectively minimizes thermal distortion and discoloration on stainless steel thin sheets, offering high efficiency.

   • Rapid Response Actuation: Utilizes a combination cylinder with an aluminum alloy barrel and low-resistance seals, paired with a pilot-operated, high-flow solenoid valve. This ensures excellent response speed and follow-up performance, achieving a very high cycling speed.

4. Comprehensive Safety & Protection

   • Reliable Insulation Design: The secondary circuit employs an insulated pressure cylinder base and upper arm, providing reliable insulation. This allows for direct installation and operation on a conductive base without short-circuit risks, ensuring safety and practicality.

   • Intelligent Safety Monitoring: Equipped with air and water pressure switches with alarms. Effectively prevents welding initiation when coolant is insufficient or air pressure is abnormal, offering full protection for both the equipment and workpieces.

5. Powerful Power Source & User-Friendly Operation

   • Efficient Welding Power Source: The main circuit features a fully water-cooled resistance welding transformer and rectifier, delivering strong, stable output with high energy efficiency.

   • Ergonomic Human-Machine Interface: Standard foot switch control​ aligns with ergonomic principles, enabling high productivity with low operator fatigue. Easily integrates into semi-automated workstations.

The Upper Electrode

The upper electrode moves vertically up and down in the linear guide, with high precision in repeated positioning, thus ensuring accurate welding points.

The Pressure Component

The descent and ascent speed of the pressure head can be adjusted arbitrarily, which alleviates the pressure impact on the workpiece and reduces noise.

Gas Storage Tank

Backup dedicated gas storage tank for welding machine, which is conducive to reducing welding pressure fluctuations and ensuring stable welding force.

Waterway Components

All waterway components undergo surface treatment to prevent rusting, and waterway drainage is independently discharged to the water tank. Based on the outflow situation, blockages in the waterway can be observed and eliminated.
