Working Principle

The resistance spot welding process generates heat at the interface of two metal workpieces by passing a high electric current through a localized area while applying mechanical pressure. In this MFDC machine, three-phase AC power (380V) is converted to direct current through a fully water-cooled rectifier, delivering a stable welding current to copper alloy electrodes. The upper electrode descends via a pneumatic cylinder, clamping the workpiece between the electrodes.
